Loose ends
- Mazal tov to Jon Stewart and his wife on the birth of their second child, a baby girl, over the weekend named Maggie Rose. "I don't know that much about women," Stewart told Letterman a few months back when the pregnancy was announced. "A girl, she's going to want me to have tea with her and her panda. Like, what am I going to do with that?"
- Jerry Springer gets disinvited to a high school dance. Um ... why was he invited in the first place?
- American Idol winner will perform two concerts in Israel next month ... although we have no clue why the Jerusalem Post would stoop to the punny headline: "Kelly Clarkson to 'Breakaway' in Tel Aviv." It doesn't even make sense.
- Adam Sandler is in talks to play a gay firefighter in the upcoming film I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry.
